Apart from the relationship row that the two guys in the background have just had, what are you trying to show us here?

c'mon guys. Brook even posted a sticky saying don't ask for footage. It's getting old - people will post what they want to post when they want to post it just fine without a zillion requests ALL the time.

Very nice. Am I right in assuming that you used a lot less light than we might expect, since you asked the question?
I think you said you guys were using a 1k and something else, in some other post, but this shot looks lit up. Do tell....please.
Thanks for posting and I won't ask for footage, because Joel knows where I live and he might get angry. :)

Evin, Blair & Brooke, y'all dudes are real noble (all jokes aside) giving the thirsty water, actually vitamin water with the footage and still y'all are post'n! Na really y'all are do'n a great service, actually on both sides for the camera's buyers and potential buyers and for RED by validating the cam in real practical use. The shots are NUTS, period!! I'm sure y'all are appreciated.

OK since your excited by the low light performance, I am guessing that your key wasn't a very big instrument and by the look of the talent's shadow on the wall, I am guessing a pretty hard instrument so I will guess a Fresnel or PAR of some sort, and looking at the size of the shadow cast, it wasn't really too close, but it looks too warm to be an HMI, so I am guessing tungsten Fresnel is more likely.
So, with the clues of being excited by the low light performance, moderately hard shadow, warm source at a moderate distance, I am going to guess a Mole 2k baby. Now for the fill side lets see what clues can be seen.
Much higher CT on this instrument, much softer, so it could be a daylight balanced instrument. How about a kino with 5500 globes?
OK, you gotta tell me, am I even close?
By the way, tell your talent to quit staring into the lens. That guy ruins the shot with his direct glare (he looks down right pissed off, like he didn't want to be there at all).
This is a fun game, guess the lights, can we play again?

Looks like a 1K or 650 from the left side high with some amber on it and a 2'x4 bank Kino with daylight tubes and another small unit inside with steel blue on it (a joker since it seems daylight balanced?) The chosen lighting angles seem a little unfortunate from cosmetic perspective...

It doesn't look to me like he is staring directly into the camera. It looks like he's looking just a little left from his view. He does look angry though, and he could have been looking further off to the side.

OK here's the scoop
Camera left 1K Lowel DP with 251 & Straw 25ft away
Camera Right Joker 200W HMI with a XS Chimera about 18 feet away.
DJ projector light in room behind.
ISO 640 rating.
Why are you guys so consumed with the background guy. This was just a random nice loking grab, might not even make the edit.

OK, then my key guess of a 2k (I was assuming ISO 320) was pretty close!
Just bustin you guys chops about the background talent, didn't mean to offend. :innocent:
