Look presets are frustrating

I've done my 2nd National Commercial with redcine-x with a RR and a RR Mobile. Works great, but my main issue that has not been addressed is coloring on set.

What I'm looking for is a way to tell what clips have been adjusted visually. Also, a way to save up to 5 grades that you can cycle through quickly would be great as well (think apple color with up to 4 grades).

When coloring on set, this is essential to show the DP and the Director different looks quickly.

Just did a job where the editor wanted 175 10-bit MXF's. I knew that after transcoding the files I wouldn't be able to watch the footage to QC it.


I did render a few ProRes quicktimes to make sure. Isn't there a way that redcine can playback the MXF's to double check our work?
