No confirmation for reservation?

Are there still people who did not receive confirmation of their reservation? :confused: I am not talking about receiving a serial number. Just a confirmation that the transaction was ok (or not?) and that we will be soon receiving more details.

I sent an email on the 23rd placing a reservation and still no news. I am getting worried! I sent another email 2 - 3 days ago and again no reply...

Is there a problem with my reservation or am I just impatient? :confused:

Who are you sending the email to? Are you waiting for a RED confirmation or a PayPal confirmation? When did you send the emails?

Thanks very much for the interest and the quick reply!

I sent an email on the 23rd at 4K@red.com describing my problems with Paypal. I received very quickly a reply from Joanne asking me for my card details, so that she could do the transaction manually. I replied to her email with all the info on the same date and since then... no news. I sent another email to the same address on the 29th asking for an update but until now... silence...

I checked my "spam" emails but nothing there as well...

Should I be worried?

I wouldn't be too concerned - they're up to their ears in work over there. I would re-read all of the emails/literature you've received to make sure that there isn't a step that you've forgotten. Back when people were waiting for their Rs there were many people who were surprised to find that they had forgotten to sign a particular document and send it in. I'm not completely familiar with the reservation process, so perhaps some things have changed.

I also placed an order on the 23rd and yet no one has contacted me. However, I did receive the confirmation for the red but not the lenses. These were 2 separate orders 1 day apart using Paypal. I knew I should of just called it in!!!!!!!:mad:

There is not much of a correspondance to review, really. Just 4 emails - 3 that I sent and one that I received, so...

But hey! I can wait! :) It's just that I would have loved to receive a confirmation that they have at least received my emails!

Abu: Thanks for the info. So you received a confirmation for an order placed on the 22nd (RED ONE) but not yet for the order placed on the 23rd (lenses), right?

You can call your credit card company to see if the payment went through.

Also check if there's something "important" in your spam folders.

Yes we had a problem with paypal processing and ended up doing alot of the orders manually by hand.. and It's poor Kelly handling it and there were hundreds of orders so bear with her...

...Stickers are pretty trivial, so I'm sure they're a much lower priority than getting reservations sorted out.
