I don’t know how many of you are aware of Clipmeister RD, a workflow software under constant development, created in cooperation with “Die ClipMeister” (The ClipMeisters) , a service company from Hamburg, Germany.
Latest version features capabilities to sync WAV audio to quicktime wrappers on location and easy creation of dailies.
Please check out if this works for you, especially outside the world of 25 fps.

Might be a stupid question, but would it allow for use on windows afterwards aswell if everything is done first on mac???

Great soft!

The problem is that editors should be more interested than the dop. I don't see much editors out here.

Well, all Quicktime Wrappers need the RED Codec of course.
Using Avid, you can import media with a mac and then do the editing on a windows machine.
Rendered files like DPX or TIFF are independent of platform.
Rendered Quicktimes need the appropriate codec, e.g. ProRes.

Ok , for myself , I'd rather stay editing with the r3d's directly inside Avid, or cs5,

so this would be possible
