Can pinewood do MX upgrades?

Also, can they take care of registration transfers?

I'm very keen on getting a RED system... but really need a level of support in Europe. Sending cameras back and forth to LA is not a good option.

MX upgrades can only be done in one location according to Jarred. They had to set up a special facility with special equipment to facilitate the MX upgrades


likely not, we set up a specialized facility in orange county just to do the upgrades since it requires specialized equipment, we can't do them at our normal repair center.

Thanks Jason.... hopefully as the company grows, Europe/Asia etc can get dedicated facilities.

It is very hard to convince investors into a $30k+ systems that have to be sent back and forth across the pond for certain upgrades and buying accessories.

I understand some repairs can now take place at Pinewood, so this is a step in the right direction.

Jason is correct regarding the MX Program. As for camera ownership transfers this is something that can be done through our UK office. We just asked that you contacted your Bomb Squad Rep so they can provide you with the necessary information.

yeah... i think they are definitely moving more and more in that direction... the mx upgrades are a special circumstance though, from what I understand.
