Audio Syncing Problem in REDCINE-X

So we are jam-synching and when I try to connect the audio files in RC-X, they synch up OK, but the audio just sounds really, really bad, and the original .wavs sound fine.

RC-X 221, using Mobile Rocket, audio recorded at 48k, tried all the rate-overrides... anybody have any solutions?

We might need to get a sample of the wav file as sometimes the wave files don't identify their format correctly.
