I could make it in Dubai but before have to look carefully about all those papers, laws, customs, ata-carnet, insurance, etc,...
The best thing is if I go with the cam as DIT and guard like a watch dog but that can rise the price and I'm not sure if somebody would like to pay for this extras...

Ha. Bring it out. Dubai customs will have a field day and probably end up keeping it!!
Nobody likes paying for extras, least not here........

how do you go about getting that Mysterium X label on the side? is that up to a certain serial #?

I think each MX upgrade has it.
Already I saw it before here.

It looks like they're CNC-ing it on the side of all cameras :-)

Your tag says that your RED 1973 is already upgraded to Mysterium-X. Didn't they put the MYSTERIUM-X logo on it?

Its at RED being upgraded now. should get it back soon. Got an ominous FEDex tracking email saying something was shipped yesterday........

Came back in, and yes, Mysterium X was machined on the side. Love it.
Took about a week, which considering we fedexed it from Dubai to the states, is pretty amazing!!!

Both my Red cameras have been upgraded 3 months ago but I havew been away shooting a feature for Priyandashun in the UK. Butr back in sunny Dubai now :)
