At first I thought the road was a bit too light, but when I opened it in Photoshop it looked better. Then I pushed it a bit more so DR is even more apparent.

yeah.. different peoples monitor gammas will make things lighter or darker. photoshop should pull the proper gamma.

I think it may be due to the fact that the sensor has twice as many green receptors as blue or red.
