How to get a 16:9 center crop from 2:1 footage??

Transcoding some 3K 2:1 footage to 1920x1080 and want to crop equally from the left and right side of frame for a 16:9 final image. Can't seem to get this to work in Redcine-X 221. I've never been really familiar with the framing controls in redcine-x, any suggestions? Is this easier to do in Rocketcine? Any suggestions are gladly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to define a 16:9 output size then scale with Fit Height.
