Hi Fimakers gang
I am not sure why you put the below quote in your sign off? You fought non stop about why T-stops were unnecessary and an old archaic film tool that had no use. Now you have a T-stop quote in your signature???
"My new goal is to include T-stops at no additional cost to our customer."
It just does not make a lot of sense. Or now do you think T-stops are a good thing?

if you can't go further, beat them on their own field..
the digital makers.. including the red ones.. will beat all filmmakers on your own screen.. :) the 35mm big one..

on your doubt, i think to make art is a good think.. industry is only a thing.. seems to me you aren't noticing the most relevant side of my signature.. "..at no additional cost to our customer."

So is what your saying is you don't care about quality just low cost?
Like many experienced people on the side of T-stops stated in those posts was that T-stops would cost very little if anything to impliment to the lenses.

Just voted as a "non asshole".
I've just changed my point of view.
I'm definitely a fanboy.
Sorry.

I can read the words you have written individually. It's just unfortunate that together they do not create a sentance that makes any sense.

That might be the funniest post I've ever read - good work Hoffmeister!

I've been learning to appreciate this filmmaker's gang. He or they. Seems more than one. This thread is from genius.

Brilliant, we've got another good argument going already :) :innocent:
I reckon one of our computer whizzkid members should design a virtual space where we can "take it outside" and beat each other up. "Non-assholes" can stand outside posting "fight, fight, fight!"
Let's do it :construction:

yeah I imagine it as a sort of Celebrity Deathmatch / "Morphius is fighting Neo" where everyone would have their own special moves. So Finner could use his Hoff powers, but in Filmmaker's Gang he would have to contend with multiple opponents..
Anyone stupid enough to take on Jim would have to get past his uber shades, and would risk losing 50 places in the RED queue for every strike Jim landed. On the other hand, the fruits of victory could be great indeed..
We could charge for entry to watch. I might post the idea under "How to finance your new RED Camera" :innocent:
