Just received camera 7709 in Regina, Saskatchewan! I've had the pleasure of using a RED in the past but I'm so thrilled now that the company I work for agreed to get one!
The batteries/ LCD haven't arrived yet but I hope they come soon because I can't wait to turn the camera on!
Thanks RED!

Enjoy!
You can use any type of V-lock battery, something any decent camera place will be able to loan out to you. You can hook up the camera via HDMI to a flatscreen TV and at least do some practice indoor/studio shooting.

Adrian, that is good news. What type of projects will the RED be used for and what type of lens package do you expect to use? And what is the hightlight attraction there in Regina?

Red will be used primarily for commercial shoots. The company I work for ( a cable/internet provider) will use it to promote it's various products and bundles.
Starting with the 18-50 T3 but hopefully adding other lenses as time goes by. Regina is a small city (no major attractions)... But we have some beautiful skies. In fact our license plates say "Land of Living Skies"...

The batteries are on their way! But that's good to know about the batteries should I ever get in a bind. Thanks!

Just watch out you don't drop them. They don't like that... :nono: ;)
