View Full Version : RED ROCKET out of function with new firmware

Help!

installed 1.1.8.6 yesterday - worked fine with Redcine-X #246.

installed Redcine-X 247 - scrambled eggs on screen AND check out
those error messages:

Rocketcine wont show any video - just black.

i get the same messages with RocketCine. Although I'm not sure if RED is now switching to REDCINE and not supporting rocketcine with new drivers/firmware.
can someone confirm for sure?

You need to go back to older FW/drivers if you want to use the RR with an older build.

is it officially confirmed by RED? that rocketcine (not RedCine) is left behind with the previous drivers/firmware?

another question is: a previous redcine on my machine used to preload the clip in the player (showing the preload bar progress) but current one isn't? does anyone have the same problem? (i'm in the process of swapping RAM so not sure if it's just my machine or software).

Deanan officially mentioned that they have no plan to update Rocketcine-X with the newer build for RR.

Please email the log files to redcinex at red.

Faced same issues did I. Back to older version I went.
