I've read of similar issues but not sure how to compare it to mine.
Pertinent Info:
Build 246
64Bit PC Windows 7
RedRocket
Build 30.5
Using 4K 2.1 files
Quicktime 7 installed
When I go to output a quicktime file (regardless of which compression I use like h264 or DV-NTSC) I get it rendering out as just black. If I render out a Tif sequence or jsut a snapshot the image is there. I've also tried higher rez such as 1920x1080 video and still just blackness.
I'm trying to down convert to 480P and am using the framing tool.
Is this a known bug? Am I potentially missing a codec? I have Adobe software installed so I would imagine I have all the codecs I need...
I'm not sure which slot the card is in... I've tried to read up on it but don't fully understand if that will make a difference.
Playback in REDCINEX is great, and output is even fast (near real time)... it's just out outing black frames!
Also, it sometimes hangs on an output at 99%... But that's another issue.
Love this card. Please advise. If you need more detailed info about the scenario I will add it.
Thanks,
Adrian
