Red in Greece

Hey, maybe there should be a forum with a thread focused on "Red in X country" (replace X with the country of your preference)

Anyways, I am mostly based in Greece and I am getting a Red + Red Tele lens for personal use. Yeah, I might ask for a Zoom lens as well but that comes into play later this year.
No I am not a pro cinematographer in any sense. I do VFX, 3D animation and photography but lately I get a sorta fatal attraction to the likes of Red...

So the thing is I am getting requests from a fair share of people begging me to rent or simply have the camera for a day (or a few) soon as I get it.

This got me thinking, is there anybody else based in Greece who has reserved a Red camera?

Maybe we could network...

A worldwide network would be great. Why not asking a RED Member placed around the world, when you don't have enough budget to travel and you need 2unit picture from any country or an advise for location scouting, or, or?

I wanted to go to NAB but I am currently undergoing multiple dental surgeries (replacing teeth with ceramics) so I don't think I'll be fly-worthy come April :sad:
I can barely talk now as it is.
My money's on IBC where I have already booked tickets and a place to stay :red_bandana:

Even if you go there and pick it up you still have to pass through customs when you return. I suggest you to save the trip money for the customs fee... :-)

I will import it the normal way and Petros will too. When the time is right we should all meet and share the info for the procedure. It will not be a prolblem.
