ALE with no audio

Hey all,

Im new to this so excuse my ignorance.

I just encoded my 4k files to dnx36 via the cinered program.

I followed the steps, imprted via the ALE, relinked and all that . Picture is great, but all my AUDIO is offline.

What am I doing wrong? I cannot figure it out for the life of me, and my buddy who is familiar with RED just gave me a blank stare.

Any ideas?

This came up in another thread... After you copy the MXF media to the Avid MediaFiles folder, drag and drop the AAF files into a bin. That will have all the tracks as transcoded via REDCINE-X. If you want the additional metadata that comes with the ALE, one you import the AAF's, select all and do an "import" ALE with "merge on known sources" active in the shot log settings.
