Hello,
Really enjoying the RED Rocket here. An absolute must for any RED owner/editor.
Anyhow, I thought I would connect it up to our 42" Panasonic TH-42PZ700U Plasma flat panel TV (1080p compat) to the first DVI connector on the breakout cable. I attached the breakout cable to the left most port on the Rocket card (if you are looking directly at the back of the machine) via a DVI to HDMI cable (also tried a straight HDMI cable with a small DVI->HDMI adapter).
I set the output for 1920x1080p, RGB8, 23.98 fps in RedCine-X v.258 and gave it a whirl.
The image appears in the upper left hand corner of the Panasonic instead of being centered. Parts of the video are cut off on the top and bottom as well.
I was thinking the issue is that it's a consumer flat panel and not compatible with the Rocket output. We're waiting on a JVC that is on order.
Any thoughts? I did a search on the forums but couldn't find anything relevant.
Thanks much!
