Red Settings: ASA 320, Shutter 1/96, 72fps, 2k cropped
Red Zoom: I forget the settings, I was experimenting

This weekend I shot a bunch of 72fps, this is one of my favorite, even though it's not a typical overcrank shot. Here I was trying to give a dream like feeling, almost as if you were hovering about. See what you think. I pulled focus myself, so if it's off sharp, that's why. Though the delay is intentional, to add to the feeling.

Nice! gotta love that slow mo. The focus looks good as well.

It does look dream-like. I notice that the VLC player reports the frame rate on this video is 34.2857 fps, is there a particular reason for that? The previous clip, JumpinInTheRain.mov was reported to be 24.000 fps.

edit: never mind, another tool reports the file is 24.0 fps as expected. Apparently my VLC player is just messed up, it says UpInSmoke.mov is 155.688 fps.

How is it that 72fps has been out for more than 24 hours and I still haven't seen a "badass walking shot". ;)

Looks awesome Shawn. Sorry, I was asking about your workflow about the short, before reading the thread...
