Just took a look at www.red.com it seems like they've updated the site with a new main page, some new stills in the gallery and more! Looks pretty good!

I'm glad to see the site updated.
Hey Red Team, while you're at it, you know what would be great?
If the accessories in the store each had a "Product Description" which would describe the individual items in detail, and what their functions are.
It would be really helpful, since now it's a bit of a guessing game as to what each thing does, and what's needed to assemble the best package.
(And this addition would probably lead to some of us purchasing even more of your fine products. :))

In the mean time you can check out Brook's FAQ which has a description of most of the items, starting from post #4 here :

Hey Red, maybe you could just "steal" Brooks's descriptions !
Cheers,
Damien

Yes. Actually one thing that occurred to me as potentially being useful is a full summary page on the site that explains the options. The producer whom I interned for last year had spoken of the frustration in learning all the new formats and specifications and what was needed with what camera etc. Perhaps a brief summary section that lays out in simple enough terms how everything works such as REDCODE RAW, camera setups, recording options and workflow possibilities would be useful. This could be done in such a way so that a producer who hasn't been following the development of the camera could look at the page and understand what is generally needed for a particular use, and what the associated steps are from production through to distribution. Should they then be interested in actually using the camera, they could of course take a seminar or some such route to learn all the details. But I think a broad overview would be highly beneficial to many people who are unsure of what is possible, what isn't, and how everything fits together in the grand scheme of things. What does everyone else think?

We'd love to do that if things weren't changing everyday!
