I am writing this as a huge thank you to Robert Ruffo (Director/DP in Montreal) who called me last night and gave a long list of priceless tips on shooting with the Red One, because he wanted to help.

As a newbie, it is a daunting task to make the right equipment decisions and climb this mountain of know-how - but Robert's advice has just given me a wormhole to an enlightened equipment list.

So thank you Robert and to those who don't know Robert - he's a gem.
