HD-SDI Output Question....

Just wondering what format the HD-SDI output is coming out at?

For those of you with REDs who use a Panasonic 1700W monitor, that info. usually would come up on the monitor (if it's on) when you plug in the cable from the RED.

Is it 1080P? 1080i? 720P? Is it a locked signal to a certain format? Is it the same when shooting 2K, 4K, 1080?

So, I just copied this from the RED FAQ thread:

HD-SDI Outputs – “Mini-BNC” [1.0/2.3] 2x single-link [4:2:2] or 1x dual-link [4:4:4] 1080p HD-SDI output displaying the captured image without any overlays. Adapters to standard BNC will be provided.

And I just copied this from the RED website camera tech specs section:

Video Preview: HD-SDI and HDMI; 1280×720 progressive, 4:2:2

So....does anyone know what format the HD-SDI currently spits out? Dying for an answer before this weekends RED test session at rpmpost. I am hoping to bring an HD Video Assist unit to that session to test with the RED, but need to know the HD-SDI output format....

I just had to bump this thread, as it is such a simple question, I am really hoping someone could give me a quick answer. (Maybe because it's so simple, no one is answering...hmmmm)

just found the answer 720 p preview signal...

Unless things have changed, the HDMI outputs 720p and if you use both chanels of the SDI you get 1080p (using only one you get 720p)

Ok so HDMI video monitor/preview and HDSDI monitor/preview are both 720P.
But isn't a single link 4:2:2 HDSDI (video out - albeit no display info) 1080p? And aren't two of these outputs available at the same time (if you don't require 4:4:4). It would be great to feed HDSDI to both a 1080p display and an AJA IOHD box (recording ProresHQ) straight from the camera.
