Hey,
I am head of rentals at a small production company in Silverlake, LA, where we currently rent one privately owned MX package that has been out a lot lately, so we would love to get another package in. I am tired of turning people down.
How it works (at least so far) is that your package lives in our equipment room. We handle load outs/ returns. All of our rentals require insurance. L&D typically goes through us. The owner and us both get a cut of the rental.
We share an online calendar showing when rentals are. The owner is welcome to his/her package whenever it is not booked.
Essentially we take over all the grunt work.
We are really interested in starting long term relationships. So if this seems like something any owners would be interested in, let me know.
