In case anyone is interested. Should be the fastest field CF reader, I would think. Not sure how much faster it would be than other solutions (still limited by the overall speed of the card itself)

Strike that, after further reading I see that it seems only as fast as USB2 so why anyone would want to put it in a slot when you can do the same in a USB reader is beyond me.

i think the red CF is working just with a LEXAR without problems.

Can change over time.

Plus for those running eSATA RAIDs the expresscard is already taken up.
I personally would rather have the slot taken up by a RAID I use all the time, than a cardreader which is only used off and on throughout the day.
