So stupid me, I updated my RCX to the latest (at the time) build, 261. And while I was at it, I did Redline seeing as it came with it and that is what I've always done.

Well one little problem has come up (although I haven't tested it 100%, Im pretty sure this is it) I still use RedRushes quite a bit (its faster when you dont have a rocket card, much much faster) and it works for our workflow. However, today being the first time I went to use RedRushes after the new Redline went in, I got errors on every single clip, no files were made and nothing happend.

Time for the Real Question:

Can I go back to an earlier build of Redline to allow Red Rushes to work? Will this affect how RCX 261 will work/look when transcoding?

Ps. which redline works on both, I deleted my previous install files, and is there a link where I can download them?

Thanks in advance.

just go to RED web page then support and look at RCX...then below it you'll see HISTORY---click there and you can go to the builds history and download many previous builds

Cool thanks, just wondering if I could get an OK from one of the RED guys with the whole RCX and RedLine thing.. Is everything still going to work on a older Redline.

Hi Aaron,

You are going to want to download the Red Alert package from the support site, as that includes the old version of RedLine you are looking for.

Thank you David! Just one more thing real quick to be 100% sure, does this mean that RedLine does not affect RCX? I've got projects on the go using both Redrushes and RedCine-X

Just making sure, thanks in advance.

Thats correct. RCX does not currently use RedLine.
