The Prague Film Academy (FAMU) just recently applied for the special government fund to be able to buy four RED ONEs.

Hi,
any chance to know if they get funds for this? Or did they already?

Thanks much,
JJ

Vienna is about 4 hours 15 minutes drive (409k) from Prague.

My RED will be available for Czech customers from January 2008.

I think that two of them are for sure ordered to land in Praha from the very begining (... as Jim confirmed me when they presented redmap for first time...)

And two others will land at Slovakia.
You can pm Laco about his #1095, www.4kstudio.sk

Yes, it is true. We are probably the first in Czech Republic with RED to come. Nr 950 (second within a month or two). It is on its way now. Maybe next week. We are even offering entire 4K workflow, from edit (FCP, Avid), through color grading (Scratch) and VFX to 4Kfilm out.
So, if anybody interested email me...
