For you guys who are actually owners for the first time, and are thinking about renting your equipment out to off set some of the cost. Please be very careful when collecting the proper paperwork in order to insure you are not going to be sorry. There are many scams going around currently regarding proper insurance. Some of these scams, but not all, involve the use of third party or co-produced agreements. If you feel that you are not quite sure about paperwork provided to you, please feel free to call me during regular business hours at GEAR inc. 1-512-485-3131 I will be glad to go over what you have on a one on one basis and give you my opinion of what your missing or have in the way of proper paperwork,
I have over 15 years dealing with insurance ACCORDS, and law suits involving scams conducted on my company as well as information being passed around by hundreds of equipment rental houses on what the bad people are currently doing out there
There are currently only 5 companies left in the USA which underwrite all of the insurance agreements. Most of the rest have stopped writing policies due to theft. It is in all our interests to help out whenever we can in order to help steer the high cost of insurance coverage back to acceptable levels.
Thanks for reading this and lets all go make pictures.
