Congratulations Red Team on putting out this camera and accessories so quickly. For us F900/Varicam/HDX900 owners do you think the Red EVF will be available for these cameras? I know it is proprietary at this point.
It would be great to start buying some Red accessories that I can use now. I do not plan to buy a Red camera until 1/2009, but a color/affordable viewfinder is very appealing to me.
Thanks,
James Bridges

The EVF is RED only, and part of that is because some of it's circuitry is in camera and it connects therefore via a proprietary connection, and this also gives us better picture quality.

Hi Graeme
How long till the EVF is fully functional with the camera and LCD running at the same time?
Will the EVF ship out with the next batch of cameras?

Hey Graeme,
How many cups of coffee does it take to make REDAlert turn into REDCine?

the closest EVF to the RED EVF is the Accuscene ( approx $17K) - and it works on 900, varicam ...

How do you turn whiskey into coffee?
Warm an Irish Whiskey glass with hot water or steam.
Pour the whiskey into the warmed glass.
Add in 1 Teaspoon of sugar and stir.
Pour in freshly made coffee and fill the glass to half an inch from the top
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Turn a spoon up side/down and put tip into coffee while letting the cream fall into the glass over the back of the spoon.
Fill to the top of the glass and do not stir, instead drink it down as fast as you can.
I hope this helps:umm:
