I'm pretty sure Jim has promised full 5K debayer with the Rocket card.

Jim posted this on July 27th:

We are working toward a firmware upgrade that will support EPIC 5K to existing RED Rockets. Just as you would expect.

Jim

And this:

I think you can expect to playback 1/2 quality 5K realtime (good for just about everything)... and transcode just a bit slower than 4.5K does now.

thanks for the info....

any red team could confirm this at this time?

we are pretty close epic release and i think that rocket support will be nice for all rocket owners.
i think that probably realtime at half res will be nice to decode the new codecs that will have higher data bit rates.
but if they release this new firmware update for supporting the new redcode flavors will be awesome.

Epic is currently working on Rocket and is in the optimization phase to get it running as fast as possible on the hardware.

Hey Deanan, how will HDRx impact this?
