Hi all, DaVinci is here and it's amazing. I'm run a Mac pro 2x2.8 10gig ram, quadro fx5600 and nvidia gt120 and is very fast. I really like the workflow, very cool and easy to work. But, some questions here:

Have Da vinci "mix/mode" like in after effects (add, overlay, multiply, etc.)?

Can I export or render the mattes for others softwares for composition?

Can I put more than one image at the same time to combine both (mix) For example: sky replacement or a mix with a solid color or a gradient? "a bit of compositing"

When adding more layers to make secondary grades it's possible to define the opacity of that layer?

Thanks
Paulo Emílio

I don't have answers for your questions. I have only question. There is quadro fx5600 for MAC already? I thought that there's only quadro 4800 for MAC.

This quadro is a old board! I have it for 2 years!

Resolve is a color grading system so you can import clips, grade and then send to your compositing package. You can put a foreground over a still for preview but currently we don't composite the images. You can render mattes as DPX Alpha only, 8 bit. Have a look a the key mixing controls for opacity of graded layers.
