Currently working on a Music video and a Feature that has given me a chance to really test out Storm.
Now this is coming from someone who loves, uses and gets a kick out of REDCineX and how powerful it really is.
If you own, use or work with RED Footage. You will want to have and use the The Foundry's Storm for so many reasons.
From the start the things that stick out to me most are.
The Vectorscope, Waveform and Histrogram all look great and have a professional feel to them.
The layout is understandable, clean and somewhat in your face, love the slider expanded controllability and ease of use.
The User interface is accessible and direct.
It feels like a comfortable step from REDCine X into this Storm world.
Oh ya and this works on a laptop WHAT?

Nice note, Changes you make in the RCX metadata reflect in Storm sweet.
Right now as it is, its a complete pleasure to play with, however I know and wait for them to expand on it to be a beta build out in the market.
There is no doubt in my mind that it will be an extremely useful tool to any post production or production workflow.
I can see they are constantly working on it and improving it.
It does not help to give specifics on what im experiencing due to the fact that
it is only improving as the days go by.
As the weeks go on I will be glad to give more details on what im doing with it.
Im happy and impressed, looking forward to see what they do with it 2,3,6 months from now with it.
For now its kinda like my girlfriend on the side. Ill see her for a fix, but im still with RED Cine X.
