View Full Version : Red One in Germany?
Hey there,
does anyone know which rental house will be the first to get a Red One in Germany? I currently have an upcomming Projekt to be shot in early 2008.
What I know is that the following rental houses already ordert some Red Ones but i dont know the shipment dates:
Cinegate (Munich, Cologne, etc...)
Rodde (Cologne, 2 Units)
Ludwig Kameraverleih
I only know that Rodde will probably get their Reds in february or march.
So does anyone know more than me?

Well, we´re getting ours not before May 2008. As far as I know Camcar in Cologne also ordered a long time ago, but they won´t make any deals until they know definately they have a working camera. To be honest, I´d love planning Red shootings for next year myself, but I´d better not, it´s just not safe yet to deal with changing delivery dates and issues to be solved by Red.

ludwig in munich should get his first ~30 days before us. we are scheduled in december. however we already rent out red camras - for HIGH prices as they arent our owns and we have to subrent them.
Where do you rent them then? Austria?

we can bring how ever many cameras you need for your project to germany right now. all it takes is some plane tickets, a rental fee and some food for the techs. oh yeah maybe a place to stay and a girl named hilda for each crew guy (she needs to wear one of those octoberfest customes too - like all the time.)
Bush is embarassing us enough...don't need your help being the ugly American.

you are right that was in bad taste, i apologize, but seriously i can bring cameras to germany in january. we just got back from australia and we are going to peru twice in the next two months.
