Hi all,

I am officially announcing a major change of focus for Visceral Psyche with immediate effect. I have put up the full press release (511K PDF) here:

http://www.visceralpsyche.com/downloads/Visceral_Psyche_Press_Release__Company_Reorganisat ion_Nov2010.pdf

Basically, I will keep supplying and supporting Red cameras here in Japan but going forward my main focus is going to be on achieving my personal goals as a filmmaker, something I've let slide for the last three years and something I want to get back to.

In a nutshell, I'll be writing three feature screenplays over the next six months, prepping and directing my S3D scifi short movie "Maria" using two Epic-X cameras, and continuing to work as, and refine my skills as, a director, cinematographer and photographer.

Please have a read of the Press Release as it covers the above points and more, and feel free to comment below.

Cheers from Tokyo,

Paul :)

I wish you all the best in your endeavours my friend. Happy scripting. Its not easy but there is little more rewarding when something works. It is my drug of choice.

Thanks for the positive words all! It's weird but I've been walking around all day with a smile on my face.... always a good feeling to know you're heading in the right direction of your dreams :)

Looking forward to the day I can finally show off what I'm truly capable of in the film directing and writing department!

Cheers from Tokyo,

Paul :)

As someone who took a lot of time off from commercial projects to write a lot of scripts and is now in pre-production on our first feature I can affirm your decision and encourage you to go after it. As I've quoted here before
"A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline."
