Missing threads

There was a thread called "Time-lapse squeaky wheel" that suddenly disappeared after the site went offline for a while.
Is this an isolated situation or have there been other threads deleted as well...

not deleted.. well kinda deleted, lost a sector on a hard drive, so lost some posts.

Shoot! I had finally posted enough to lose the embarrassing "Junior Member" designation and now I'm back in the kiddie pool.

Backups are your friend. There are many ways to automate them, especially on a cPanel server.
