Starting today, RED #79, is powered up, fully tested, and ready for full production use. A comprehensive package is provided with everything you need to record jaw-dropping 4K material for your projects. Whether it's a large feature or simply a one-day shoot, we've got you covered. Everything listed is available now - I am not including accessories in my list like EVFs and hard drives which are not available yet.

Package includes:

RED ONE 4K Digital Cinema Camera with PL Mount
RED 18-50mm T3.0 Close Focus Zoom Lens
RED Onboard 5.6" HD LCD
RED Compact Flash Port
Full production pack with complete selection of hardware accessories, including handheld options, adapter for 15mm studio work, and untethered battery options for lightweight/steadicam use
Chrosziel Mattebox with ND filters and soft grads
O'Connor 1030HDS fluid head with lightweight, carbon fiber support
Official RED compact flash cards, batteries, charger, and everything else you need to shoot right out of the box.

Package rate for all items is $1,100 per day or just $3,300 per week.

Because the RED camera is brand-new and we want your shoot to be 100% successful, the package must be accompanied by a RED tech/DIT or RED Camera Operator. Rates are negotiable based on project complexity.

Renter must be insured.

In addition to the above package, we have many additional items to complement your shoot, including additional lenses, wireless follow focus options, Steadicam systems, Apple download stations, large monitors, and more.

You are welcome to contact me directly or via PM or email for more details and package availability. Camera is available for travel.

Thanks,

Häakon

Do you have a large"studio monitor" with that? If not, which one would you recommend?

Hi Jimarri,

I do have both 8" and 17" Panasonic monitoring solutions with HD-SDI for monitoring, just be aware that both are quite large to be attaching to the rig and as of right now, only one monitoring output can be "hot" from the camera at any one time. This is a RED issue; they will enable all outputs to be active simultaneously via firmware update in a future release. But as a studio monitor, I can definitely have you covered. Shoot me an email or give me a call and we can discuss specfic package options.

Thanks,

Häakon

Nope, wouldn't want to rig a 17" on that either.

Just sort of curious what monitor options people are using or recommending right now. Thanks.
