Hi guys, i'm pleased to report that DaVinci Resolve users can now download the 7.0.3 update at http://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/software/

DaVinci Resolve 7.0.3 adds new image handling for YUV clips in the video range to allow colorists to pull back details from sub-black and super-whites; new keyboard shortcuts for grab still and recall of memories; now permits extraction of long reel numbers from Autodesk EDL’s and adds a new real number extraction pattern "%_R" to extract reel numbers and strip out the underscore for FCP workflows.

Rgds

Peter,

I performed the upgrade, and it is asking me to connect it to a database, but the previous one that I used until last night is not showing as available. I hope I did not loose all my projects...:confused1:

Please advise ASAP. I have a client coming within the hour...!!

Thanks,

Hi Luis,

You should be able to upgrade the database to the new version. Resolve will prompt you to do when you first start Resolve. Once you have upgraded the database, you should be able to use your old projects.

Please contact our help at davincihelp (at) blackmagic-design.com if you are unable to do so.

Regards,
Rohit
