Awesome video! I like the aged look if it, and the CC looks very good as well.
Looking around the site I was very inspired by the "Angel Awards" video - nice work. The opening sequence is excellent, what sort of effects did you use to get those flickering particles and moving feathers, etc?

Thanks, The Angel Award was my favorite project. It earned us several Emmy Awards.
We produced that over 5 years ago so I dont recall the details, but it was done in After Effects and XSI. The footage was all shot on video (DBeta, Beta SP and DV) We shot all the video in one day.

How many people does it take to unpack a Red?! Congratulations! Now go out and shoot something and show us.
I've seen a few posts now with the cart and Sachtler head. Are those carts useful? It seems you can roll them around, but you can't raise or lower the camera. Also, which head do you have, and does it handle the weight okay?

Camera carts are for prep, not shooting.

In our case it took a team of 30...8 staff, and 12 Interns, + I used 10 Interns to rotoscope the 12 Interns out of the video.
You dont shoot w/ the cart. Its used to transport the camera and lenses and setup the camera.
The head on the cart is a Sachtler 18III...too small a fully configured Red. I have a OConnor 2060 for the Red.
I have stills from the camera posted here:

Thanks D/FX, I hope I can come down sometime and check you guys out... Please keep up the soulful work.

We bought everything...actually 2 sets. The second wont be here for awhile.
We already have Mattebox, ff, lenses, etc. But I bought all the Red accessories, rails, handles, mounts, etc.
