editing saved looks

So I've created a look using, LGG, ramps, levels, etc
saved it to my looks.

Now I want to go back and edit some of the effects I applied.
when I drag it to the open clip it only shows the "Red Look" settings and none of the effects i applied.

Tried both replace look and add look...neither brought back my effects settings tabs.

Did I not save it properly?

anybody had the same problem?

Did you have all the effects in your stack selected when you saved the look?

Rats..I don't think so...but it IS strange that all the
effects are applied but not editable.
