Crash on playback

Anybody else having this problem?

01 Open Storm v01b04
02 Import either a single clip or folder of either M or MX footage
03 Select a clip and open in the viewer
04 Push play
05 Storm quits unexpectedly

Mac Pro Octo 2.8ghz, 16gig Ram, ATI HD3870, OS 10.6.4 (10F569)

Hi Adam,
Can we get a copy of your clip? I tried it here and it seems okay. Does that same clip play okay in RedCineX?

I have the same problem regardless of which clips I use, so far I have tried footage from 2 years ago right up to stuff that was shot last month. All the clips I have tried that crash Storm work fine in Red Cine X (build 252 and 351).

I can manually scrub through clips, the crash occurs as soon as I hit the play button.

Hi Adam,
I'm with you now. Do you see a 'Report...' button when it crashes? If you could send us the output from that, that would be great.

Also can you try the following:

In Finder:

Go -> Utilities -> Terminal

Type:

cd /Applications/Storm1.0v1b4/Storm1.0v1b4.app/

./Storm1.0v1b4 -debug="Default"

...then quit Storm and send us a log from the following location:

<user>/Library/Application Support/TheFoundry/Storm/MTTF/log.txt
