Is there a reason the Canon FD mount is not available in the RED store? Does the FD series of lenses have compatibility issues with flange depth or something? Im sure it used to be offered am I right?

Not from the RED store, Jon. It was offered through MUSE Electronics until RED determined its installation would void the warranty. After that, Kevin (khmuse) retired it from the market. I should know, as I own one. P+S Technik also sells one for use on its IMS product... http://www.pstechnik.de/en/optics-ims-mounts.php

P+S mount also voids the warranty. We have had too many issues with customers cameras after they take apart the lens mount past the user changeable part.

Camadeus is authorized to do this sort of modification in Hollywood, not sure if they make an FD mount yet.

Indeed. As Jarred points out (and our good friend Sanjin found out), the IMS mount also voids the warranty.
Jon, you may want to follow Jarred's lead and drop the Camadeus' crew a note... http://www.camadeus.com/contact.htm

I'd be interested to know what they say about the subject.
