If I shoot some RED footage, can I create an EDL in FCP and then export the EDL to RED ALERT to convert to DPX or TIFF in 4/2K?

No, Red Alert will not conform...hopefully this is being addressed with Red Cine as it will be very difficult to work w/o this ability.
