This was shot from the top of the stands. I might have overdone the grading a bit, but I love the feel of the image.

If you have a Mac and have FCP2 with the QT pref Color Compatibility checked, you can download the movie and see what it should look like.

Jim, I bet you wished you had a RED motor/RED Grip combo on that new zoom of yours. :)
Even at this resolution the movement was buttery smooth. Thank you for sharing and firing up the troops. Nice run btw, how did you guys do for the weekend?
Cheers,

I bet you could cook a turkey over the flames shooting out of those dragsters!
Have you shot any high speed close up shots of the flames? That would be pretty cool looking.

8000 horsepower, zero to 330mph in 4.68 sec, 5 G's at the launch and negative 5 G's at the chutes. All this and environmentally friendly...

Jim,
Have you thought about mounting a Red into the dragster and shooting some high speed driver perspective stuff? That would be pretty cool. I suppose you would have to do that outside of a real race though.

It looks perfect! Funny: no more discussions about the image quality (isn't there a kind of artefact at pixle 30031? 10,11,12 stops dynamic range ASO)
Good. Please, please, Babeeeeee, give me a RED in my hand, I wanna shoot stunning pictures, Babeeeee...

Was that your car that totally beat the other one? :-)
How about Red on top of it...(with a G force/wind resistant mount). Or is something allready in the library?

Hey Jim,
How about seriously kicking some ass at Apple about this gamma nightmare.
You sure seem ripe to do so…

oh man, GPMs... not MPGs. awesome.
say, how long before we see a RED sponsored racing car? I mean a full RED logo paint / detail job? In the works? Sure would be purty to photograph in 4K. :)
