Anyone having trouble with sending XML sequences to Color? It's been importing into Color for a while and I don't know what the problem is. No erro message has shown up. The file is ridiculously small and it's a h264 of a RED.

Any solutions?

I don't think FCP can edit h.264

You can put an h.264 clip into an FCP timeline, but not set it as the timeline codec. I don't think Color can work with h.264 media.

i've brought h264 media inside color before........you can't directly bring it in, but you can transfer it through final cut pro.......atleast i've done it before.

h.264 is a delivery codec.. not editing. Any reason why your using it?

If it's just testing.. convert it to say pro-res and try that.

XML is kinda screwed in 1.01, mainly on the sending back to fcp.
People are reverting back to v1 for now it seems.

i wasn't editing, i was just practicing in Color....i've used h.264 successfully in the past...maybe i'm just crazy. i'll try to convert it to pro-res to see if it works any more smooth.

Just read somewhere.. creative cow.. prores work in color at 1/2 res :-/ wierd.. never tried.. always go uncompressed.. let the disks take the stress of the media and the proc's the stress grading it.

Enjoy.. it's a neat app when working.
