Hi.

I'm new here, and while I'am waiting for de Scarlet, I've bought a Panasonic
AF-100. Now, I like to order the Red 18-50. Will this also a good lens for my Pannie?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Johan

Sure Johan, but you may want to consider Panasonicīs sensor size when choosing lenses: 18mm on Panny will equal 36mm on 35 full frame (or 24x36mm). If that is wide enough for you, get this highly reliable lens.

I actually have the 17-50mm RPZ for my AF-100 and am (patiently) waiting for the Hot Rod PL adapter to come so that I can try it out.

Hey, give me a ring when you do get that rigged up, I'd love to see it.

To the OP, I would suggest the 17-50 Red Pro Zoom over the 18-50 lens.

Hi Guy's.

Thanks a lot, this helps me a lot.
I'll go for the 17-50.
One question, is that PL mount from Panasonic not good enough.

regards, Johan

the best mount incl support is from Denz - itīs not really cheap, but you can put a lot of heavy support on it.

Martin, are you using lens support or is the mattebox doing the job?

There's literally hundreds of people worldwide who have been shooting with PL mount lenses on their AF100 that would argue that the Hot Rod PL system is vastly superior. Obviously, myself included.
