"The Game", starring Gerard Butler, Alison Lohman, Michael C. Hall, John Leguizamo and Kyra Sedgwick (according to IMDB) will be "Shot on RED" by the Crank boys, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor in New Mexico. Shooting began today with 6 RED cameras.
Keep your fingers crossed...
BTW, cameras were provided by a customer that bought 5 cameras delivered in the 1st 100... plus one more.

Absolutely...
We are new. The cameras are just released by a company that was called a scam a year ago. There are a thousand things that can go wrong. Dalsa just got their 1st feature (I have been told) after 4 years in the industry. We are the rookies and have cameras that were released (and not done) less than two months ago.
Our prototypes were used on "Wanted" next to film. Steven Soderbergh used using two prototypes to shoot "Guerrilla" and is using two newer prototypes to shoot "The Argentine" in anamorphic. "The Game" is a large budget movie using several RED ONES. And we are nervous as hell.

Jim, I hope this has something to do with this statement that you posted on 10/30/07... :construction:
"3. We have several new formats to be delivered that you have never seen or heard about... the suspense builds."
Take care...

We are not done... not by a long shot. We have so many surprises left for our customers that it is hard to contain the releases.

I presume as Crank 2 is filming back-to-back with The Game that it will also be shot on Red (assuming all goes well).

This camera's been blessed from the moment it was conceived. I feel so proud to be part of this experience. All I need now is the money to order mine :-(

I wouldn't blink an eye on this production after my last 21 days shooting multiple RED ONE cameras in nearly every conceivable configuration. My only regret now is that I did not order more cameras earlier.

Where is this feature going to shoot? If it is going to shoot in Canada, I would like to apply to work as a RED Data Wrangler and/or HD Video Assist operator. I am now putting together an HD Video Assist package to work seamlessly with my REDs, and also have a very solid plan for data management of RED footage. A workflow that I think would be insurable. I am sure that you have all this nailed down already, but if not, please PM me and let me know how I can help, and IF it is possible to apply to work on this project in this exciting camera/data management department.

I thought it was "The Game" as in the recent bestseller, which I haven't read, but I highly recommend to everyone.

FYI: In case anyone is having a hard time finding information on IMDB, etc...
The Title of the film is actually just "Game" (2009). If search for "The Game", you may not find it since there are so many others by that name. :)

Jim, will you have a cameo roll in the movie, and if not you should. In fact you should try and get your face in as many Red productions as possible if only as a constant source of amusement for this forum to see if we can spot you :)
