I've been locked up on small Pacific Islands for the last seven years. I guess I just got a bit dated with the whole tech side of things. Good job I came out of hiding for RED in time though. Latest little beastie is one of those iPod touch modules. Loaded 6000 songs and my show reels onto it so can show those to anyone with interest on my travels, so long as they don't mind listening to the timeless hits of the great 'Noobian' artist and legend Barry Manilow !!! :waaa:
Cheers,
Mark.
Disclaimer - I categorically state that I DO NOT have any Barry Manilow on my iPod

Yup, loving mine too. I have some, don't laugh, iLuv noise reduction headphones and walking around the Roman spa town of Bath in the UK, full of old ladies wearing Gucci, with some pretty bonkers Prodigy, Linkin Park, Anastasia, Paul van Dyk et al assaulting my last remaining brain cells at mach 10 is greeeyyaatt......lovin' it.
Cheers,
Mark.

I have two show reels on mine. In fact I showed one in a TV showroom this morning and am looking to maybe supply a very chic, small chain, with some demo underwater stock for their HDTV displays. Great little gadget.
Loading more music into it everyday.
Cheers,
Mark.

Yeah. Its looking good.
OT. Stephen, just found redcamera.net nice little board. Interesting to see how it develops once those 'hotcakes start flying'. I've put in my listing.

Probably time for a revamp. It hasn't really taken off since I started it up, but now cameras are starting to arrive in the UK (& I'm giving seminars & writing magazine articles!) it would seem to be a good time to reboot it.
I'm thinking a new messageboard, listings for all UK Red Users (that want it) and maybe more diverse articles from different writers. Read through some of the ones I've written & there's an awful lot of pretentious waffle on there!
Of course (back on topic) I can now do it all from my iPod Touch :)

how do you loaded Mail and iCal on the touch?
Does it need to be hacked to have Mail running?
Is it Apple Mail or Yahoo Mail?

I'm waiting for an iPhone-style iPod with a large screen and large harddrive like 80GBs.

I'm getting the iPhone. 8GB is fine for me as I'm mostly homebound anyway. The idea of having all that and NOT having to also carry a phone is most appealing.
