Hi Jim-
Welcome to the Red! Most folks are currently working with FCP and Red Alert as that's what's available. For some workflow ideas check out Mike Curtis' hdforindies.com blog. One scenario is offline in FCP with proxies and grade and finish in Scratch which supports .R3D directly. Other method is process to TIF or DPX stacks in Red Alert, then create ProRes and online in FCP and Color.

Well first: you aren't making a very friendly introduction with typing in caps, and using language like "no excuses!".
Second: the answers are very easy to find in this board. I think if you just would have typed in workflow in the 'search threads' section, under advanced search, you would easily have come up with a page full of threads.
Third: If you are talking about REDCINE, because you are posting this in the REDCINE board: it's not out yet, it's in beta now, and will be released publicaly pretty soon.
Fourth: it's very hard for people to give you advice about a workflow if you don't tell us on which platform and with which NLE you are working...
