Hi All,
I've finally managed to get my latest film online. I recently won the Prix du Public for this one at the 34th World Festival of Underwater Images. Please note that it went from almost 10Gb to 60MB so it is heavily compressed. I posted it as mp4. Its clear enough to give you an idea what its all about. The compression also seemed to play with the audio a bit, normally the chap doing the voice sounds more angelic. Such is life. If you get the chance pop by, get a beer (it's 14 minutes long) and relax. All critique much welcomed.

oops, maybe this should be Off Topic. Mods please move if deemed necessary. This was done with a Z1. Sorry if it misleads.

Cheers,
Mark.

Hi Mark, you are one of the early RED believers, so you may stay here ;-)
The Pictures are amazing, incredible and shows: first, it does not matter with what kind of camera you are shooting, you need talent and passion. You have both. You want some critique? I missed a dramaturgy, a kind of story, a message, to many words spoken by a not really talented speaker. IMO. Less music, more calm.

Mark,
Nice work on the short. You nailed some nice predation sequences. I especially liked the frog fish snagging its prey, well done. I bet you spent a few hours submerged to get that one. Anyway, just wanted to pass on the congrats.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't wait to see what gives with RED on shoots like these. Its going to be so amazingly rewarding when the shots are dialed in nicely.

Cheers again,
Mark.
