Introducing the RED Shoulder Rig System

I am excited to have received our first "INSANE" RED SHOULDER RIG System, AKA "Clutch" ;)

There are many more pieces to the system including adaptors to mount the RED ONE.

I'll keep it short, the guys @ RED definitely had captured some ALIENS as this work does not seem to be made by any HUMANS ;)

$7000 for everything you see there... thats not just the Shoulder rig but a few other additional bits as well.

Wasn't the shoulder rig in the $1,295 neighborhood once? I know its all subject to changing... just seems like a whopper of a jump.

not that I remember... remember the old non-quick release base plate with 2 universal plates is $900 alone ( same price as ET's similar base plate and rod supports ). This is the much more badass DSMC QR version of that original base plate.

bit of a breakdown of just the shoulder rig for you:

The Complete Shoulder Rig ( it's called the "Clutch" btw ) is $5195 and includes the QR Dovetail universal plate, DSMC Universal top Mount, Double ball-joint handles, Set of Dogbones, 19mm carbon Rod, 19mm Dogbone link, shoulder pad, rear pad and assembly, chest pad and assembly, and Nato Top Rail. Everything is machined... trust me, this is a good deal.

Ketch, have you heard anything about a top handle for Epic? I think a really light-weight one would be ideal. The one you had on your Epic is just a Red One part, right?

Epic is so small, compact and light, it kind of makes you rethink accessories, with an eye toward keeping weight down.

That top handle Ketch has is the new DSMC top handle..
