I've had a shoot yesterday on alexa
and used my own set of RPP's
all lenses works fine except the 18mm
it's 4mm further in the mount and because of that you won't be able to fix the PL mount

You could specify the title into "18mm RPP not on Alexa"

But it is possible to get the 18mm modded to fit.

you can try unscrewing the black cone at the end of the PL. It's most likely glued in so the mount should be removed and treated with solvent or heat to soften the glue first.

did anyone try this allready
is there a danger for the glass towards the sensor???
I talk to RED about it , and if I do so, my warranty will fall offcourse
and they will not do it for me
so I need to be certain that it will work?
thanks

So it looks like you can keep warranty but not use the lens or use the lens but may lose warranty....
your choice......:thumbup1:

You have to remove the rear cone on the 18mm. Works great on the Alexa.
