Hi,

I apologize if this is the wrong forum or thread to post this in.
If so let me know and I'll move to the appropriate one.

I am looking to hire a Epic-m owner to shoot my experimental film in Albuquerque, NM April 10-17.

I only have $7000 for the week.
You're worth much more than this but thats what my budget can afford.

I can pay travel and accommodations.
You will be fed well.
You will have some seriously sick visuals for your reel!

And hopefully this helps with your ROI on your camera.

Thank you for your time and serious consideration.
I look forward to working with you soon.

Sincerely,

Kyle Karges

Possible we will have our camera by then but that is NAB week - kind of bad timing for most of us.

I understand, but we're shooting at White Sands National Monument on April 17th under the full moon.
Our entire schedule is built around that shoot.

Kyle,

Why not play it safe (as there are only a handful of Epic-Ms out in the wild right now), and just book an owner with a RED One-MX? Has the same sensor as the Epic.

There are few enough of these out there, that its probably best if you reach out to those owners directly.
I imagine most are out and about shooting with the cameras and away from the forum :-)

I'm guessing you'll be able to find an EPIC-X at that price by April, if you are patient.

Sounds like a flat-out fun shoot...

Thank you to everyone. The response has been overwhelming. I am completely humbled by the quality of people on here.

I have taken most of your advice and we're going to shoot on the Red MX.
And I'm proud to announce that we now have our DP, Stephen Treadway!
