Hi Kaya,
There is a known issue with merged clips. We are working on it and expect to provide a patch for this scenario shortly.
The mixed timeline scenario you describe is on the roadmap.

Hi Michael,
STORM currently supports the Avid Artist Color (formerly Euphonix MC Color). I'll add the JL Cooper Eclipse CX to our database as a feature request (#17078).
Thanks,

if these two things work, storm will be the ultimate pre-editing and more important pre-post solution for red projects.
would pay extra for qt/dpx/tiff implementation!

JL Cooper Eclipse CX support is a good thing. Very nice board. I have opted for the Tangent Wave because it is supported by DaVinci and Storm seems to work well in preparing trimmed and organized r3ds for import to DaVinci. Is there any chance Storm will support Tangent wave?

Why would you want to export DPX's to Resolve when it supports R3Ds? Not meaning to be argumentative but to learn. We stay with R3Ds as long as we possibly can.

been asking for a while the same question......hoping for a YES, but would gladly accept a no, but an answer would be great one way or the other.
Any plans to allow key-framing of RAW data this or future releases?

I was just going to buy Storm when i saw that it is a "license noad", that mean I can't move Storm from a Mac to anther and shall fill apaper to explain why I want to do it. I am always trying to have the best computer possible, and I change it about every 6 monthes. So, if I buy Storm now, I won't be able to use it on my new Macbook pro I just bought. And I hope the new Macpro will be here ASAP, and I don't want to buy a software and be stick with a computer.
Could the foundry provide a dongle or a way to activate/deactivate the software ?

vfx heavy red projects
This happens a lot, and also projects with mixed footage, where I am.
A good "Conform timeline for Resolve" and a "conform for VFX prep" solution would also be lovely.
Good luck with the launch guys!

A Dongle would be great as I work with my MacPro DIT cart OR MacBookPro mobile DIT setup depending on the clients budget. As an example I have Avid Media Composer 5 installed on both machines and have an Avid dongle which I can effortlessly swap between machines as and when I need to. Avid doesn't lose out, they just gain a very satisfied customer.
Buying two licences when I only use one would suck somewhat!
Also there are productions that hire Macs for dit and data management from third parties... So wouldn't it be great if I arrived on set and had Storm on a USB stick which I could then install and use with my Storm dongle. I would gladly pay double or treble the current Storm RRP for that kind of functionality.
Some food for thought :)
All the best,

+ 0,5...
Not for the higher price, but some other licensing solution.
We constantly "roll/re-set" our computers between - and sometimes even over the duration of a production. We back up the main drives, so that we can get the full system up again on another machine if something breaks.
We're in production all days every week. Downtime is not allowed...
This - if true, is another hassle that should be avoided.
Is there a "site-lisence" for larger users?
That might solve the issue in our case...
